Synopsis

Deep Water is a psychological thriller film directed by Adrian Lyne, based on the novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith. The story follows a married couple, Vic and Melinda Van Allen, who engage in a dangerous game of infidelity and manipulation.

As their relationship deteriorates, Vic becomes increasingly suspicious of Melinda's affairs and begins to investigate her lovers. However, things take a dark turn when the men Melinda has been involved with start turning up dead, leading Vic to question his own sanity and the true nature of his wife.

As the tension escalates, Vic and Melinda's twisted relationship reaches a breaking point, with deadly consequences. Deep Water explores themes of jealousy, obsession, and the lengths people will go to in order to maintain control in their relationships.
