Synopsis

"The Taste of Apple Seeds" is a novel that follows the story of a young woman named Iris who returns to her family's home in the German countryside after her grandmother's death. As she begins to sort through her grandmother's belongings, Iris uncovers a series of letters that reveal dark family secrets and a mysterious past. Through these letters, Iris learns about her grandmother's forbidden love affair with a man named Elmar during World War II, and the tragic consequences that followed.
