Synopsis

Cruel Intentions follows the story of Kathryn Merteuil and Sebastian Valmont, seductive and manipulative step-siblings who always get what they want.

Kathryn makes a bet with Sebastian: he must seduce Annette, the daughter of their school's headmaster, before the end of summer break. Annette has vowed to wait until love and marriage to sleep with a man.

If Kathryn wins the bet, she gets Sebastian's vintage 1959 Jaguar Roadster. If Sebastian wins, he gets Kathryn, the only girl he believes he can never have.

Also involved in their twisted game is Cecile, a naive girl whose mother asked Kathryn to help her fit in at their new school. However, Kathryn and Sebastian plan to ruin Cecile's reputation as revenge on Kat's ex-boyfriend, who left her for Cecile.
