Synopsis

Doctor Who: Shada is a lost episode of the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The story was originally intended to be the final serial of the show's 17th season, but production was halted due to a strike at the BBC. As a result, the episode was never completed or broadcast.

Shada follows the Doctor and his companion Romana as they visit the Time Lord prison planet of Shada. There, they discover that the evil Time Lord Skagra is attempting to steal the ancient Gallifreyan book of knowledge known as the Book of Shada. Skagra plans to use the book to gain control over the universe and rewrite reality itself.

The Doctor and Romana must race against time to stop Skagra and save the universe from his nefarious plans. With the help of a retired Time Lord named Professor Chronotis and a hapless Cambridge professor named Chris Parsons, they embark on a thrilling adventure through time and space to thwart Skagra's schemes.

Doctor Who: Shada is a beloved story among fans of the series, despite its incomplete status. In 2017, the episode was finally completed using animation and voice recordings from the original cast, allowing fans to experience the adventure that was almost lost to time.
