Doctor Who: Shada is a lost serial of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The story was intended to be the final serial of the seventeenth season, but was never completed due to a strike at the BBC during filming.
The serial follows the Doctor and his companion Romana as they visit the Time Lord prison planet Shada. There, they discover that the evil Time Lord Skagra is attempting to steal the powerful book of knowledge known as the Time Lords' mind.
The Doctor must race against time to stop Skagra and save the universe from his evil plans. With the help of a retired Time Lord named Professor Chronotis, the Doctor must outwit Skagra and prevent him from gaining control of the Time Lords' mind.
Doctor Who: Shada was written by Douglas Adams, best known for his work on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The serial was eventually released as a webcast in 2003, with newly filmed scenes to complete the story.
