Synopsis

Don't Come Knocking is a film directed by Wim Wenders that tells the story of an aging cowboy actor named Howard Spence, played by Sam Shepard. Howard is tired of his shallow Hollywood lifestyle and decides to leave the set of his latest film without a word. He embarks on a journey to reconnect with his past and find meaning in his life.

As Howard travels through the American West, he encounters old friends and lovers who help him confront his demons and come to terms with his mistakes. Along the way, he meets a young woman named Sky, played by Sarah Polley, who may hold the key to his redemption.
