Synopsis

Some say that all houses have memories. For one man, his home is the place he would kill to forget. A family unknowingly moves into a home where several grisly murders were committed ... only to find themselves the killer's next target. Successful publisher Will Atenton (Craig) quit a job in New York City to relocate his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two girls to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the scene of the murder of a mother and her children. And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived.

When Will investigates the tragedy, his only lead comes from Ann Paterson (Watts), a neighbour who was close to the family that died. As Will and Ann piece together the disturbing puzzle, they discover that the story of the last man to leave Will's dream house will be just as horrifying to the one who came next.

David Young
8/10

The Dream House soundtrack effectively captures the tension and suspense of the film, enhancing the overall atmosphere and keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout the movie.

Emily Williams
10/10

The soundtrack of Dream House seamlessly blends with the visual elements of the movie, creating a cohesive and immersive cinematic experience. The music not only complements the on-screen action, but also elevates it to a higher level, drawing viewers deeper into the world of the film.

James Scott
8/10

The haunting melodies and eerie soundscapes of the Dream House soundtrack perfectly complement the dark and mysterious storyline, adding depth and emotion to the characters' experiences and making the film even more engaging and immersive.

Lisa Parker
4/10

The soundtrack of Dream House failed to create a sense of suspense or tension during key moments of the film. Instead of enhancing the chilling atmosphere, the music felt generic and uninspired, detracting from the overall viewing experience.

Kimberly Brown
5/10

The soundtrack of Dream House effectively creates a sense of suspense and tension throughout the film. The use of eerie melodies and haunting tones helps to build a foreboding atmosphere that keeps viewers on edge.

Deborah Adams
9/10

The soundtrack of Dream House perfectly captures the eerie and suspenseful atmosphere of the movie. The use of haunting melodies and dissonant chords creates a sense of unease that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the film.

Joseph Robinson
3/10

Furthermore, the choice of musical themes and motifs in Dream House seemed disconnected from the storyline and character development. The lack of cohesion between the soundtrack and the narrative made it difficult to emotionally connect with the characters and their struggles, ultimately diminishing the impact of the film's climactic moments.

Dorothy Young
10/10

The music in Dream House effectively enhances the emotional depth of the story, adding layers of complexity to the characters and their motivations. The score manages to convey the inner turmoil and psychological struggles of the protagonists in a way that words alone cannot express.

Karen Green
6/10

On the other hand, some may find the soundtrack of Dream House to be somewhat generic and predictable. While it serves its purpose in enhancing the overall mood of the movie, it lacks originality and fails to leave a lasting impression compared to other more memorable film scores.
