Synopsis

Ed Wood is a 1994 American biographical comedy-drama film directed by Tim Burton. The film tells the story of the eccentric filmmaker Edward D. Wood Jr., played by Johnny Depp, who is often regarded as one of the worst directors in the history of cinema.

The movie explores Wood's passion for filmmaking, his struggles to get his projects off the ground, and his relationships with his friends and collaborators, including Bela Lugosi, played by Martin Landau, who won an Academy Award for his performance.

Ed Wood is known for its quirky humor, colorful characters, and Burton's signature visual style. The film received critical acclaim and has since gained a cult following for its celebration of Wood's unique vision and determination to pursue his dreams despite constant setbacks.
