Synopsis

In her Berlin apartment, where the S-Bahn and long-distance trains pass by, the actress Edith Clever reads Molly Bloom's monologue from James Joyce's "Ulysses". In addition to the literary hymn to life and finitude, the film is an attempt to sound out the extent to which the environment and the audience influence a text and its presentation.
