Synopsis

Elysium is a science fiction film directed by Neill Blomkamp. The movie is set in the year 2154, where Earth has become overpopulated and polluted, while the wealthy elite live on a luxurious space station called Elysium.

The protagonist, Max Da Costa, played by Matt Damon, is a former car thief who is exposed to a lethal dose of radiation at work. In order to save his own life, Max embarks on a dangerous mission to Elysium to access their advanced medical technology.
