Fallen is a brooding metaphysical investigation of ones own belief systems. Abe, a Vicar, emerges, fighting for his life, from a lake. As he gets his breath back, Suzanna, a loyal member of his congregation, is spat out of the same stretch of water. Only she's not grateful when he saves her from drowning. Instead she confronts him about all the lies he's spun about God's love for her and tries to get him to see the world without faith. Confused and unsettled in a burnt forestland the pair of them joust it out until the terrifying reality of where they are slowly reveals the horrific tragedy a loss of faith has caused the pair of them - in more ways than one.
