Synopsis

Fatal Vision is a true crime book written by Joe McGinniss. The book tells the story of Jeffrey MacDonald, a former Green Beret doctor who was convicted of murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters in 1970.

The book explores the events leading up to the murders, the investigation that followed, and MacDonald's trial and conviction. MacDonald maintained his innocence throughout the trial, claiming that a group of hippies had broken into their home and killed his family.

McGinniss, who initially believed in MacDonald's innocence, later came to the conclusion that he was guilty. The book delves into the psychology of MacDonald and the evidence that ultimately led to his conviction.

Fatal Vision was a bestseller and was later adapted into a television miniseries. The case continues to be a subject of controversy and debate among true crime enthusiasts.
