Synopsis

The world of Midgar is at the mercy of energy company Shinra; only the group of mercenaries known as AVALANCHE can stop them from bleeding the planet dry of its lifeline: the liquid Mako. Joining AVALANCHE for a one-time job, Cloud Strife is an ex-soldier suffering from amnesia; and in his helping AVALANCHE he will suffer haunting blasts from his past, totally out of his control. Cloud soon finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy that threatens all of Midgar: and his pursuit of recovering his memories.
