Synopsis

Flight of the Navigator is a 1986 American science fiction film directed by Randal Kleiser. The story follows a 12-year-old boy named David who mysteriously disappears in 1978 and reappears eight years later with no memory of what happened.

David is taken to a NASA facility where it is discovered that he has been traveling through time and space aboard a spacecraft called the Navigator. The ship is controlled by an artificial intelligence named Max, who has been collecting data on Earth for the past eight years.
