Synopsis

Gerald's Game is a psychological horror novel written by Stephen King. The story follows a woman named Jessie Burlingame who, while handcuffed to a bed in a remote lake house, must confront her dark past and inner demons in order to survive.

As Jessie struggles to free herself from the handcuffs, she begins to hallucinate and experience terrifying visions. She is haunted by memories of her abusive father and the traumatic events of her childhood.

Throughout the novel, Jessie must find a way to escape her physical restraints as well as her psychological ones. She must confront her fears and find the strength within herself to overcome the obstacles in her path.
