Urmas Eero Liiv's feature film "Must alpinist" (Ghost Mountaineer) is a youth film with horror elements that is based on real-life events that took place during the Soviet era. It tells the story of a hiking group of Soviet Estonian students who become involved in a series of terrifying events that unfold in wintery Siberia. The unpopular leader of the group Olle (Reimo Sagor), who is disappointed in his companions during the trip, disappears on the last day in the mountains. His rival, liberal and adventurous Eero (Priit Pius) guides the hikers who descend to a Buryate mountain village to seek help. A strange and crazy chain of events is unleashed that seems to be orchestrated by the missing Olle. In a foreign land and among people they don't know, the hikers are faced with a task they at first don't want to undertake and then can't tackle.
