Synopsis

Greasy Lake is a short story by T.C. Boyle that follows the reckless and rebellious actions of three young men who are looking for excitement and danger. The story takes place one summer night at Greasy Lake, a popular hangout spot for teenagers who engage in drugs, alcohol, and other risky behaviors.

The protagonist and his friends, Digby and Jeff, decide to visit Greasy Lake in search of adventure.
