Synopsis

The Prince of Pennsylvania is a coming-of-age film that follows Rupert, a young man who dreams of becoming a professional wrestler like his father. However, his plans are derailed when his father is sent to prison for embezzlement, leaving Rupert to fend for himself.

Struggling to make ends meet, Rupert takes a job at a local grocery store where he meets Carla, a rebellious girl who captures his heart. Together, they hatch a plan to rob the store and use the money to fund Rupert's wrestling dreams.

As their relationship deepens, Rupert must confront his own insecurities and fears, while also dealing with the consequences of his actions. Will he be able to overcome the obstacles in his path and achieve his dreams, or will he be consumed by the darkness that threatens to engulf him?
