Synopsis

Hap and Leonard is a dark comedy television series based on the novels by Joe R. Lansdale. The show follows the unlikely duo of Hap Collins, a white working-class ex-convict, and Leonard Pine, a black gay Vietnam War veteran. Together, they navigate the rough and tumble world of East Texas in the late 1980s.

Their friendship is tested as they find themselves embroiled in a series of misadventures, including solving crimes, dealing with corrupt law enforcement, and facing off against dangerous criminals. Despite their differences, Hap and Leonard share a deep bond and unwavering loyalty to each other.
