Synopsis

"High Art" is a film that follows the story of Syd, a young and ambitious editor at a photography magazine. One day, she meets Lucy, a mysterious and talented photographer who used to be famous but has since disappeared from the art scene. Syd becomes fascinated by Lucy's work and convinces her to collaborate on a project for the magazine.

As they work together, Syd and Lucy develop a close relationship that blurs the lines between professional and personal. Syd is drawn to Lucy's talent and free-spirited nature, while Lucy finds solace in Syd's companionship and support. However, their budding romance is threatened by Lucy's past struggles with addiction and her reluctance to fully commit to their partnership.

As Syd and Lucy navigate their complicated relationship, they must confront their own insecurities and desires. "High Art" explores themes of art, love, and self-discovery, offering a poignant and intimate look at the complexities of human connection.
