Synopsis

Instructions Not Included tells the story of Valentin, Acapulco's resident playboy womanizer, who has his life turned upside down when a former fling named Julie leaves a baby on his doorstep and disappears without a trace.

Valentin decides to leave Mexico for Los Angeles in search of the baby's mother, but instead finds himself creating a new home for himself and his newfound daughter, Maggie.

As an unlikely father figure, Valentin raises Maggie for six years while working as one of Hollywood's top stuntmen to support them, with Maggie serving as his on-set coach.

Throughout their time together, Maggie helps Valentin mature and grow as a person. However, their unconventional family dynamic is put at risk when Julie, Maggie's birth mother, suddenly reappears after turning her life around and demands full custody of Maggie.

Valentin is faced with the possibility of losing his daughter and best friend, as he fights to maintain the unique bond they have created.
