Synopsis

The evil sorceress has a cunning plan, for the implementation of which a child with a good heart is needed. She found such a child, and lured him by fraudulent way to her. The choice fell on Jacob, whose mother was a greengrocer and his father was a shoemaker. The sorceress did not accept the boy's refusal to cooperate with her, and turned him into a dwarf. Jacob had to go through a lot because of his new ugly appearance, but his heart remained kind.
