Synopsis

Kids on the Slope is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Kodama. The story is set in the 1960s and follows the lives of three high school students who bond over their love for jazz music.

The main character, Kaoru Nishimi, is a shy and introverted boy who moves to a new town and befriends the rebellious Sentaro Kawabuchi. Together, they form a jazz band and are joined by the talented pianist Ritsuko Mukae.

As they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence, Kids on the Slope explores themes of friendship, love, and the power of music to bring people together.
