Csókkal és körömmel is a unique Hungarian lesbian drama that chronicles the love affair between a social worker and a young mother.
The film is set in working-class Budapest, where Angi, the social worker, is a straight-forward independent woman with several part-time jobs, including babysitting for Ildiko, a young mother separated from her spouse and caring for two little ones.
One afternoon, Angi and Ildiko discover their mutual attraction while tussling with the children on the floor, leading to a new experience for Ildiko as they begin wrestling with each other.
Despite Angi being gay, she is initially reluctant to indoctrinate Ildiko into her lesbian ways, but Ildiko's persistence leads to their involvement.
However, their relationship faces challenges when Maya, a prostitute and friend of Angi, becomes too affectionate with Ildiko at a lesbian club, causing Angi to feel heartsick.
During the evening, a mobster's gun is passed around, adding tension to the unfolding drama.
