Krush Groove is a 1985 American film that tells the story of a young record producer named Russell Walker who is trying to start his own record label, Krush Groove Records.
Russell's label is struggling to stay afloat, but things start to turn around when he signs a popular rap group called Run-D.M.C. However, Russell's success attracts the attention of a rival record label owner named Rick, who tries to steal Run-D.M.C. away from Krush Groove Records.
