Melissa Lopez
6/10

) The music accompanying the story of Utagui, the girl who eats songs, and the artist who has lost the ability to sing, is hauntingly beautiful. The ethereal vocals and delicate instrumentation create a sense of melancholy and longing that resonates with the emotional depth of the characters.

Sarah Young
3/10

The music choices in the film often feel out of place and distracting, taking away from the emotional impact of key scenes. The lack of subtlety in the soundtrack detracts from the storytelling and prevents the audience from fully connecting with the characters and their journeys.

Nancy Young
5/10

) The music that underscores the night dance floor scene where the bastards come together for a show is energetic and infectious. The pulsating beats and electrifying synths create a sense of unity and celebration, reflecting the joy and camaraderie of the characters coming together in a moment of shared experience.

Charles Williams
1/10

There is a noticeable lack of variety in the musical styles and tones used throughout the film, resulting in a repetitive and monotonous listening experience. The soundtrack fails to engage the audience on a deeper level and feels like an afterthought rather than a crucial component of the storytelling.

Mary Baker
6/10

) The soundtrack of Kuso yarô to utsukushiki sekai perfectly captures the tension and urgency of Fujiko being chased by Mad Dog. The use of fast-paced rhythms and unsettling melodies adds to the suspense of the scene.

John Moore
5/10

) The soundtrack accompanying the journey of the married couple searching for their son's missing arm is both poignant and introspective. The use of somber strings and gentle piano melodies conveys the couple's grief and determination, adding a layer of complexity to their emotional journey.

Amanda Taylor
3/10

The soundtrack of The Bastard and the Beautiful World lacks cohesion and fails to create a consistent atmosphere for each of the four episodes. The transitions between the different stories feel abrupt and disjointed, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the film.
