La Cucaracha Soundtrack (1998)

Synopsis

Walter is in trouble. He is an American who recently moved to a small Mexican town where he wants to live and write, but he barely knows the language and has no money. He wants to write, but he has no idea how to do it and he has nothing in the United States to go back to. He spends his nights in an abandoned lakeside shed trying to write and spends his days in a local tavern drinking local beer that he can't afford and receiving some food out of pity from the waiter. He is truly a lost man waiting for something to happen and save him. That's when a somber man shows up who writes epitaphs for the recently deceased. He wants Walter to do a job for him. A powerful local committed a serious crime against his boss, a powerful and shady local businessman, and he needs to die. Walter is offered US$100,000 for being the trigger.
