Synopsis

La java des ombres is a novel written by Michel Moatti. The story takes place in Paris during the 1920s, a time of great social and cultural change. The protagonist, Victor, is a young journalist who becomes obsessed with a mysterious woman named Marguerite. As he delves deeper into her past, he uncovers a web of secrets and lies that threaten to destroy everything he holds dear.
