Leningrad: Tsoi
In the summer of 1981, a young musician named Viktor Tsoi arrives in Leningrad with dreams of becoming a rock star. He quickly becomes friends with Mike Naumenko, a famous musician in the underground music scene. Together, they form the band Kino and start performing at local clubs.
As their popularity grows, Tsoi and Naumenko face challenges from the Soviet authorities who are wary of their rebellious music and lyrics. Despite the pressure, they continue to push boundaries and inspire a generation of young people.
Tragically, in 1990, Viktor Tsoi dies in a car accident at the age of 28. His legacy lives on through his music and the impact he had on the Soviet rock scene.
