Synopsis

Owen is 12 years-old, his parents are no longer together and he has no friends. He's also being bullied at school and lives a dreary existence. Late one night he meets Abby, also 12, who has moved in next door. She doesn't say much about herself and doesn't go to school.

Meanwhile, a detective is investigating a series of murders where people have been drained of their blood. Owen and Abby are lonely souls who find comfort in one another and Abby gives him the strength to face his tormentors.

Abby has secrets as well that touch directly on the police investigation.

The use of generic, cliché horror movie sound effects in the soundtrack of Let Me In undermined the subtlety and nuance of the narrative. Instead of enhancing the tension and suspense of the film, the music often felt forced and predictable, detracting from the overall viewing experience. The lack of originality in the soundtrack detracted from the film's ability to create a truly immersive and engaging atmosphere.

The soundtrack of Let Me In failed to capture the emotional depth and complexity of the characters' struggles, leaving the audience feeling detached from the story. The music did not enhance the mood or atmosphere of the film, which made it difficult to fully immerse myself in Owen and Abby's journey.
