Synopsis

"L'idole" is a French film that tells the story of a young man named Bastien who becomes obsessed with a famous pop star named Clara. Bastien's obsession with Clara leads him to believe that he is destined to be with her, and he goes to extreme lengths to try and meet her. As Bastien's obsession grows, he begins to lose touch with reality and his actions become more and more erratic. Eventually, Bastien's obsession with Clara leads to tragic consequences for both of them. The film explores themes of celebrity worship, obsession, and the dangers of living in a fantasy world."
