Synopsis

Little Fires Everywhere is a novel by Celeste Ng that tells the story of two families living in the idyllic suburb of Shaker Heights, Ohio. The Richardsons are a wealthy and privileged family, while the Warrens are a struggling single mother and her daughter, Mia and Pearl.

When Mia and Pearl rent a house from the Richardsons, their lives become intertwined in unexpected ways. Mia is an artist with a mysterious past, while Mrs. Richardson is a rule-following journalist who is determined to uncover the secrets of Mia's past.

As tensions rise between the two families, little fires begin to ignite, leading to a devastating conclusion that will change their lives forever. The novel explores themes of race, class, motherhood, and the complexities of human relationships.

Little Fires Everywhere is a gripping and thought-provoking novel that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
