Synopsis

Lonely Hearts

Beverly D'Angelo is Alma, a lonely, vulnerable woman who has just beaten one form of dependency only to find another-this time, a man. Eric Roberts is Frank Cigetti, a ruthless con-artist who makes a good living off of emotionally desperate women. He takes Alma for all she's worth. But unlike the others, she comes back for more. She knows he's using her but being used is better than being alone. They enter into an unlikely relationship. He seduces women. She helps him, posing as his sister. And all the while she fights back the jealous rage building within her. A rage that will eventually bring their steamy affair to an explosive end.
