Synopsis

Firelight is a novel written by Sophie Jordan that tells the story of a young woman named Jacinda who is a draki, a descendant of dragons who can shift between human and dragon form.

Living in a hidden community of draki, Jacinda struggles with her identity and the restrictions placed on her by her clan. When she breaks the rules to be with a human boy named Will, she puts herself and her family in danger.

As Jacinda navigates the complexities of her forbidden love and her draki heritage, she must make difficult choices that will determine her future.
