The soundtrack of Lords of Dogtown missed an opportunity to explore the diverse and eclectic music scene of the 1970s in Venice, California. The film could have benefited from a more nuanced and varied selection of tracks that reflected the era and the unique personalities of the characters, rather than relying on overused rock anthems.

I found the use of classic rock songs in the soundtrack to be cliché and predictable. Instead of enhancing the emotional depth of the scenes, the music often felt like a superficial attempt to create a nostalgic atmosphere without adding any real substance to the film.
