Love on Harbor Island
Marcus, the pilot who flies people to and from tourist town Harbor Island by water-plane, is a happy single who keeps dreaming of a perfect home while living in a guest house of the huge estate of the inn run by old friend Maggie.
When the latter gets injured, her favorite niece Lily, whom she raised after her parents' death, returns temporarily from her big city job, where she's hoping for a promotion from assistant to interior designer, if she can find a 'style of her own'.
Marcus and Lily clash from their first meeting over her absurd defensive attitude versus his helpfulness, but keep meeting. She learns appreciate the kind man discovering his non-profit passion: running an adoption program for dogs, and offers to help by setting up a website, 'paid' by the chores he already offered to do on the estate, which aunt Maggie plans to sell, unable to afford necessary maintenance.
The best offer comes from Lily's executive fiance Bradford's real estate employer but Marcus overhears his partner Dan planning to turn the whole estate into a multi-store condos development and plans an alternative before Lily even believes him.
