Maison Ikkoku is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It was serialized in Big Comic Spirits from 1980 to 1987 and collected in 15 tankōbon volumes. The story follows the life of a young student named Yusaku Godai who lives in a boarding house called Maison Ikkoku.
