Synopsis

Miami Vice is a 2006 action crime thriller film directed by Michael Mann. The film is based on the 1980s television series of the same name and stars Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx as two Miami detectives working undercover to take down a powerful drug cartel.

The film follows Detectives Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs as they infiltrate the criminal underworld of Miami to bring down drug lord Arcángel de Jesús Montoya. As they get deeper into the case, they find themselves in over their heads and must rely on their wits and skills to survive.

Miami Vice is known for its stylish visuals, intense action sequences, and gritty portrayal of the drug trade in Miami. The film received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for its performances and direction. It was a commercial success, grossing over $160 million worldwide.
