Synopsis

Miller & Son is a short film that tells the story of a mechanic named Jay who works at his family's auto shop. Jay is a transgender man who struggles with his identity and the expectations of his conservative father, Miller.

One day, a customer brings in a car that needs repairs, and Jay is immediately drawn to the customer, Alex. As they work together on the car, Jay and Alex form a connection and Jay begins to open up about his struggles with his gender identity.

However, when Miller finds out about Jay's relationship with Alex, he reacts negatively and demands that Jay choose between his family and his true self. Jay is faced with a difficult decision that will ultimately determine his future and his happiness.

Miller & Son is a powerful and emotional film that explores themes of identity, acceptance, and the complexities of family relationships. It highlights the importance of being true to oneself and the challenges that come with living authentically in a world that may not always be accepting.
