Synopsis

Mindhunter is a series that follows two FBI agents who are challenging the traditional approach to crime-solving. They are fighting against the stigma of being seen as backroom boys, who complicate the simple Means, Motive, Opportunity (MMO) method with academic theories.

These agents are working on developing a new investigative field that incorporates psychology, anthropology, and sociology to understand the motives behind crimes. They believe that the traditional MMO approach is no longer sufficient, as criminality has evolved to include inexplicable and irrational reasons.

By delving into deeper psychological evaluations, they hope to uncover new questions that will ultimately lead to identifying the perpetrators. The series focuses on the journey of these two agents as they develop this new criminal field, exploring the minds of sociopaths along the way.
