Synopsis

"Mistress America" is a comedy film directed by Noah Baumbach. The story follows Tracy, a college freshman in New York City who is struggling to fit in and find her place. She is introduced to her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke, who is a charismatic and adventurous woman with big dreams of opening a restaurant. Tracy becomes infatuated with Brooke and her exciting lifestyle, but soon realizes that Brooke may not be as perfect as she seems. As their relationship develops, Tracy learns valuable lessons about friendship, ambition, and the complexities of adult life.
