Synopsis

Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket is a six-episode OVA series set in the Universal Century timeline of the Gundam franchise. The story follows a young boy named Al, who lives in a neutral colony during the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.

Al becomes fascinated with the war and the mobile suits used in battle, especially the legendary Gundam. He befriends a Zeon pilot named Bernie, who is on a secret mission to gather information about the Federation's new mobile suit, the Gundam Alex.

As Al gets closer to Bernie, he begins to see the human side of the enemy pilot and realizes the true cost of war. When the conflict escalates and tragedy strikes, Al is forced to confront the harsh realities of the war in his own backyard.
