Mojave Moon is a 1996 American road movie directed by Kevin Dowling. The film follows a bored housewife named Eleanor who decides to leave her husband and go on a spontaneous road trip to the Mojave Desert.
During her journey, Eleanor meets a charming drifter named Boyd who offers to give her a ride. As they travel together, Eleanor begins to develop feelings for Boyd and starts to question her decision to leave her husband.
However, things take a dark turn when Boyd's violent past catches up with him, putting Eleanor in danger. The film explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption as Eleanor must decide whether to stay with Boyd or return to her old life.
