Anezka, a girl in her mid-20s, lives in the rural Czech region of Vysocina. She takes care of her grandparents (her cancer-ridden grandma as well as the senile grandfather), her depressive mom, and helps out her energetic yet grumpy father chopping wood. She also has an affair with a married man with kids. All of this, Anezka bears with seeming stoicism, trying not be a burden to anybody. But how does she feel underneath that surface? Slowly, she is trying to understand what she needs herself and how to find it.
