Synopsis

Mother is a psychological horror film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The story follows a young woman, played by Jennifer Lawrence, who lives with her husband in a secluded house. Their peaceful life is disrupted when a mysterious couple arrives and begins to intrude on their home.

As tensions rise, the woman's husband becomes increasingly obsessed with the strangers, leading to a series of disturbing events that culminate in a violent and chaotic climax. Throughout the film, the woman struggles to maintain her sanity as she is confronted with the dark secrets of her husband's past and the true nature of the intruders.
