Synopsis

Mr. Robot is a brilliant introverted young programmer named Elliot. He works as a cyber-security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot also struggles with a condition similar to schizophrenia, which he tries to control with drugs and therapy.

One day, Elliot is approached by a feisty young woman named Darlene and a secretive man known as Mr. Robot. They offer him a chance to join their underground hacking group, F-Society, to take down the corrupt multi-national company, E-Corp.

Mr. Robot reveals that he has another ally, the mysterious and dangerous Dark Army. Meanwhile, Elliot's childhood friend, Angela, tries to take down E-Corp legally from the inside.

A wild card in the plan is Tyrell Wellick, a psychopathic E-Corp executive with a complex relationship with his wife, Joanna. As the story unfolds, Mr. Robot's plan is set in motion with catastrophic consequences.

But this is just the beginning of the real story.
