Synopsis

My Father Is Coming is a story about an immigrant's father who is coming to visit from Germany. The daughter has lied to him about her acting career, pretending to have been looking for parts for a year without success, and also telling him she is married. To keep up the facade, she enlists her gay roommate to act as her husband, leading to complications in his lifestyle.

When Dad arrives, he accompanies her to an audition for a New Age Erotic film with Annie Sprinkle. During the audition, he accidentally gets a part in a commercial and becomes involved with Annie. This causes the daughter to feel miffed and she ends up trying to decide what her own sexual orientation is.
