Synopsis

My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done is a psychological thriller film directed by Werner Herzog and produced by David Lynch. The story follows Brad McCullum, a man who has just murdered his mother with a sword. As the police surround his house, Brad barricades himself inside with two hostages. The film explores the events leading up to the murder through a series of flashbacks, revealing Brad's descent into madness.

Throughout the film, Brad's mother and fiancée try to make sense of his actions, while the police negotiator attempts to understand his motives. As the tension escalates, Brad's past is slowly unraveled, revealing a troubled relationship with his mother and a history of mental illness.
