National Theater Live: Cyrano de Bergerac is a modern take on Edmond Rostand's classic play, directed by Jamie Lloyd. The story follows Cyrano, a talented poet and swordsman who is in love with his cousin Roxane. However, he is too self-conscious about his large nose to confess his feelings to her. When Roxane falls for the handsome but dim-witted Christian, Cyrano agrees to help him woo her by ghostwriting love letters. As the love triangle unfolds, Cyrano must come to terms with his own insecurities and find the courage to express his true feelings.
