Synopsis

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Japanese anime series that follows the story of a group of teenagers who pilot giant mechs called Evangelions to protect Earth from mysterious beings known as Angels.

The main protagonist, Shinji Ikari, is recruited by the organization NERV to pilot an Evangelion and fight against the Angels. As the series progresses, Shinji and his fellow pilots, Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley Soryu, must confront their own inner demons and insecurities.
